Long time since the last blog entry and since some work was done on the website!

Today I have updated the Photo Gallery so displaying the pictures is much, much smoother now.

Before stating the above please think that everybody's definition of decent music is not always the same, and I for one certainly cannot read your mind (especially if you're a woman!).

I do find the confused look on people's faces funny when I ask them...

An update to our opening times here at Longs Bar...

We will now be opening from 9pm until 2am, Wednesdays through Saturdays inclusive....

Blogging on Christmas day at 2.45am! I guess that just proves how much fun we all had at the Christmas Eve party!

Last weekend was a bit hectic - Friday night was a last minute switch which saw me rush home and pick up my gear to take over the night which turned out to be happy and upbeat.

Saturday was normal apart from most of the music up until 1am didn't really do it for most people - even the newer stuff and R'n'B that normally ...

I'm writing this as I'm working tonight - although it's been a good night, there are still a few things that bug the hell out of me!

I mean WOW! Sometimes I can't believe how many people can look SO disinterested on the dance floor, even when you're playing some of the latest and popular stuff!

Wow what a brilliant, hot, sweaty, packed, fun Saturday night the 26th was!

I love working Saturdays like this - no complaints, big queue outside, wide range of ages, seeing old faces, happy people and getting to play old school rave, dance and cheese!
