I'm writing this as I'm working tonight - although it's been a good night, there are still a few things that bug the hell out of me!

I mean WOW! Sometimes I can't believe how many people can look SO disinterested on the dance floor, even when you're playing some of the latest and popular stuff!

R'n'B and gangster-style music seem to be some of the only few genres (sadly) that gets people up on the dance floor - are we so shallow in our choice of music nowadays? What's changed in the past few months? Why does it seem that once a song leaves the top 40 charts, everybody disowns it like a fart in a lift?!

I'm not moaning or getting stroppy by any means but I wonder how many people actually realise how difficult DJing at Longs can be?! So many different types of people with so many different tastes in music - it's very hard to get the balance right some nights, so please respect us all for what we're doing - providing entertainment and a place to be until 2am!

Shouting abuse, whinging and otherwise generally being damn rude to DJ's, bar staff and security staff is not the way to go, it just rubs people up the wrong way!

Us DJ's do our VERY BEST to accommodate all requests and make sure you have a good night out in little ol' Lymington!

Update from the end of the night: The 80's stuff went down a treat for the last half hour, and thanks to those people whose comments that they'd had a great night were much appreciated :)
